First post
So I figured I create a professional blog about myself and what's going on with my life. I'll try to keep things on here paleo/academic related. Ie, no BS.

Thesis
My thesis consists of taking a stable isotopic look at 15 mya mammal fossils from western Louisiana. I'm hoping to answer questions about the paleoclimate and paleoecology of the area and compare it to today as well as other time periods.
About Me
I am currently a master's graduate student the Department of Geology and Geophysics at Louisiana State University. I'm also a part of the Museum of Natural Science who happens to be paying my bills right now. My graduate advisor is Dr. Judith Schiebout, a vertebrate paleontologist who is quite possibly the most helpful person I know. I enjoy my research which entails applying aspects of isotope geochemistry to fossil vertebrates in order to answer questions about paleoecology and paleoclimatology.
