Currently my plan is to be finished writing by May and probably do my defense sometime during the summer. Recently I had a meeting with my committee about my now previous topic. Suffice to say, things didn't go well. Its not that it wouldn't work, its that it would take way too much time and would require me visiting another lab somewhere, possibly Cal Tech.
